Effort and relaxation

This is kind of obvious, but we often forget about it.

I am sure you have noticed that after a day of hard work it is really incredible to come home and relax.

Same is true about a yoga practice. Why does savasana (relaxation) always come at the end of a yoga session? It is just much easier to relax after intense work with the body has been done.


The interesting part is that this relationship can be represented by a wave form.

If we take our attention to the small picture during a practice of a yoga pose (asana) the representation of the effort and relaxation is also constantly present. This is in a much smaller scale so we normally do not notice...
